The highlight of the afternoon was a winning throw from Gabriella Roseje of 9.84m in the U17 women’s shot, just short of the English Schools qualifying mark, whilst there were debut wins Cumi Simpson, Aisha Warsop-Kemp and Emelia Isaac in the U13 age group. The U15 girls won 14 of the 22 events.

Thomas Ashby turned 18 last month and has his sights set on a Great Britain Under 20 men's international vest for the gruelling decathlon event. A rainy and blowy two days at Woodford Green’s track saw him smash the HHH club U20 men's record by over 400 points with a score of 6,340. This performance placed him 3rd on the day and ranks him 6th in
During the two-day 10 event contest he recorded the following marks:- 100m - 11.63w, LJ - 6.20mw, SP - 12.29m, HJ - 1.83m, 400m - 52.25, 110h - 15.12, DT - 36.87m, PV - 3.40m, JT - 43.09m and 1,500m - 4.50sec.

HHH athletes claimed 16 gold medals at the
11/05/08 – Road Runners Feel Heat in Ranelagh Half
A small band of road runners braved the early morning heat to complete the Ranelagh Half Marathon, which also incorporated the Surrey Championships and second Surrey Road League fixture. Helen Carter removed exactly one second from her PB to record 1:35:48 and by finishing claimed leadership of the Senior Women’s Surrey Road League standings after the opening 2 fixtures. Meanwhile, James Ward wilted in the heat, having developed a “re-fuelling” problem in recent weeks, Andy Millbank ran 1:33.54 and Ben Hallifax recorded 1:36:38.
