SPORTSHALL - 30 NOVEMBER 2008

Our nextU13/U15 Sportshall match of the winter takes place at Guildford Spectrum Sports Centre on Sunday 30 November.

For those who havent done Sportshall before, it's held in a sports centre, you need shorts/leggings, a club vest and trainers and lots of energy!  There are 2,4 and 6 lap races and relays as well as field events: standing long jump, high jump, shot put and vertical  jump.

We are travelling by coach to this match – we usually fill the coach, so please let us know as quickly as possible if you want to come and how many places you may need.

Coach fare is £ 5.00 per person - please bring this on the day.

Coach meeting time at Tooting Bec track is  10.45am. We will be leaving at 11.00am, so please don’t be late or you will miss the coach. 

If you are going directly there, Steve can pass on directions:  take the A3 to Guildford, then turn left at the bottom of the slip road and left again at the next set of traffic lights, then drive another 600m and the sports centre (a large white building) is on the left. If travelling direct, please arrive by 12.15 pm so we can sort out the teams.

Please bring a drink and you can bring a packed lunch.
 
The meeting is due to finish at 4.30 pm so we will be back at Tooting just before 6.00pm.

TRAINING 

Please remember Wednesday evening training with Simeon at Tooting Bec Track from 5.00-6.30pm. We also have indoor Sportshall sessions at Brixton Recreation Centre every Tuesday evening from 5.00-6.00pm  – ask for Natalie/Hansley.  Come along and practice – bring your friends!     

PANTO

Anyone want to come to our pre-Christmas Pantomime trip?  We are planning to go to New Wimbledon Theatre to see Cinderella which stars Gareth Gates and Alistair McGowan.  More details to follow, but please give your names to Steve if you are interested so we can block book tickets.
